Back in bussiness : after 3 weeks of ied vacation

Dear blogger ;

Happy ied day for all Moslem's all over the world.
Hope we all " reborn" again with new commitment to do better for others.

In Indonesia, ied day is a major Holiday.
Maybe because nearly 90 % of Indonesia's citizen is Moslem's.
Also because the urbanization rate in Indonesia is quite high.
So a major Holiday like ied day is an annual tradition we all waiting for.

The euphoria is felt all over the country. Despite economic turbulence, most of
Indonesians people spent their money more in this tradition.
Some for the need of transportation to go back to their hometown.
Either by car, train, plane or by vessel.
Others for the preparation for the ied fiesta.
Some special food only appear in this fiesta.
Including " ketupat lebaran " and " opor ayam ".
Also the dress and other apparel we wear are mostly brand new.
This fiesta is prepared to welcome family member that going home from other town.
Also for the neighbourhood that invite to come to the house for hospitality.

We all know that the ied celebration came after the holly Ramadan month.
After one month of fasting and doing more religious activity, the ied is a celebration of reborn.
Also for people work far away from hometown, it is time to go back home and visit the elder.

For my family, after spend several day at Jakarta, we visit my wife hometown.
It is at the Central Java call Sragen City.
Famous for its archaeological sites known as Sangiran. Where the first " homo erectus " skeleton live in Indonesia found.
Sragen is quite a small city. But since the city is on the Southern Track of Trans Java Road ( which connect Jakarta to Semarang and Surabaya ) the traffic at the ring road is quite busy.
Mostly for the buses and trucks.

We spend four days there with the main activity is to visit other family members and visit some tourist attraction around the city.

Now, back in business. Back to work, back to school , back to kitchen ( for my wife...).
But truly, our batteries have been recharge.
So we are ready to face the world with a new attitude.

Regards;
