Work stuff : What Neilsen's say about Indonesia recently ?

Dear blogger ;

A few facts from recent Neilsen's survey recently :

1. Retail sales may grow below 10 % compare to last year.

2. The survey covered 54 top branded grocery products.

3. Last year retail sales hit 94,5 trillion rupiah ( exclude cigarette and non branded products ).

4. Last year was the best growth for retail sales ( 21 Percent ) of the decade.

5. Jan to May 2009 growth hits only 6,5 percent.

7. If it is true the grow is below 10 %, it is the lowest since 2003.

More interesting news from Reuters :

1. Domestic vehicle sales are likely to drop as much as 57 percent in 2009.

2. This mean no more than 425.000 units compare to 607.805 units last year.

And from other source :

1. For F&B sectors, the growth is estimated at 8,6 percent.

2. But not for export sector that fall from 500 million US Dollar to 252 million US Dollar.

3. That is 50 % cut.

4. The sharpest fall is experienced by cooking oil, frozen fish and shrimps.

5. Tea, milk and coffee is more stable than any others products.

Still a hard road to walktrough.
