Work stuff : CBHRM Step 2

Dear blogger ;

After two day public holiday for our country independence day, we're back in business.

Sure after holiday, I felt a little " jet-lag" experience.
But it is time to move on.

After sharing about the first step of CBHRM ( identify the position ), now is number 2.

No 2 : TASK AND ACTIVITIES ANALYSIS.

This step is often feel a boring step. Because for do it right, we have to list down full task and activities that the person in the position have to do it.

Not to be confuse with current activities. Current activities maybe not a valuable one.
Many organization still got several people do the job intend to do for one people.

In this analysis, the department or section head need to do a "brainstorming" session.
This session should be attended by the person in current position of the job.
For example for the position of sales manager the people should attended the meeting is :
- Section head ( if any )
- Department head
- Sales Manager ( if possible minimum 2 persons )
- HR Department ( Section head is minimum, Department head if possible ).

Don't neglected this step. It's look like a boring and long paper work.
But it will pay you well in the end.
You'll see each position in the different approach.
You'll be amazing to see how many tasks and activities that your people doing right now.
And how many of that tasks can be erased or doing by they sub-ordinate.
And your valuable people can do more strategic task for the company.
