Bali is shaken again. This time for the First Asian Beach Games 2008.

Yes, the first of it's kind held at several location at Bali Island of Indonesia.

This sport fiesta start from 18 and will be closed at 26 October 2008.

The famous location involving in this event including Kuta, Sanur, Benoa and Sarangan Island.

Total of 42 country gathered for this event with 17 sport events including 2 exhibitions events.

340 gold medals are prepared for the best of each category.

For this event medals are given to the winner at the " Culture Night " held every night after each event at each sport venue. Not directly after the game end.

But for live event coverage by national / international television, the ceremony still held directly after the game end.

As for beach games, some sports are more interesting than the other.

Surfing and Wind Surfing are some of them.

Paragliding also an interesting which offer 6 gold medal for six different categories.

Tickets are available at very reasonable price.

For all access at all venue on one day is charged only 20.000 rupiah ( approx 2.05 US Dollar ) each.

For a " complete ticket " for all venue all along the tournament is charged only 50.000 rupiah for each person. This not cover the final and semifinal ticket which cost you 20.000 rupiah per event.

So, don't miss this moment to watch athletes from all over Asia competed here in Bali.
