In order to join the army, a specific physical condition is needed. From the beginning of the recruitment until the end of his/her military career, physical training is always in line with the everyday routine.
But for the Special Unit or Special Force of military, this requirements is event harder. In Indonesia we have several Special Unit. Each for every divisions. Army, Navy, Air force, Marines and Police Force had their own Special Unit. Their units often came from the best men from the regular unit. And through hard training and simulation, only a few can become this Special Unit.
What is the Physical Requirements needed for this Special Force. We have an example from the Air force Special Unit ( in Indonesia we call it " Pasukan Khas - Paskhas ") :
1. 70 times push up in 2 minutes.
2. 70 times sit up in 2 minutes.
3. 15 times pull up and 2 mil run in 15 minutes.
4. Sprint run 3.200 km in 12 minutes.
5. Regular run 5 km in 24 minutes.
6. Swimming 2 km without any apparatus's for 12 hours.
And many - many more.
