Work Fun : CBHRM - Employee Selection step 3

Dear blogger ;

If you following the topic about CBHRM : Employee Selection & Development,
know is time for the third step.

As for review, the last two steps are :

1. IDENTIFY THE POSITION

2. TASK & ACTIVITIES ANALYSIS

The number 3 process are : IDENTIFY IN DETAIL THE PRE-ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.

The key here is " in detail ". Many of us still write about job requirements like this one :
1. Age :..........
2. Education :................
3. Experience : .....................
4. Other requirements : ..................
Nothing wrong with it. For some position, it will do all fine.

But for some specific position or niche position, we have to identify in more detail way.
Event for some traditional position like : area sales manager, branch manager, key account
and others, we still can add more pre-entry requirements fields.

Sit down with the person with hold the current position. Also talk with his/her subordinate.
And also his/her super-ordinate. After getting the big picture, now talk to HR peoples.

They will help us the transform the information from above brainstorming to more friendly pre- entry requirements. Doing benchmarking with other players in the same industry is something we should try. In this global world, nobody is 100 % right.
There is always improvement somewhere.

Thanks for A-B Consultant and Migas for the basic knowledge.

Regards
