Work fun : CBHRM - Employee Selection Step 6

Dear blogger;

The sixth step of Employee Selection at CBHRM is to :
SET " MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS " for core and sub competencies.

This step follow the earlier steps which is :






Finishing the step 5 give us a list of ranked and weighed core & sub competencies for the position.

This list is an ideal list and we ought find a candidate which fit in this list.
However, due to current circumstances; sometimes it's hard to find an ideal candidate.
So it takes longer time to select a candidate when the position is need to fulfill right away.

We have to set MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE PERFORMANCE STANDARD for each ranked & weighed core and sub competencies.
This minimum standard should be suitable for at least 2 years ahead.
Look at the environment of the job and our company goal for next 2 years.
Be sure that this minimum standard is good enough to give us a suitable candidate.

Finishing this step made us closer to a better employee selection.
